Homeyards is an extremely steeply sloping site. Four of the five pedestrian entrances incorporate steep steps. The pergola entrance at the eastern end of the gardens (Horse Lane) is the most accessible for prams and wheelchairs. There are two long, surfaced paths running the length of the Gardens east-west, which are connected via steps north-south. There are two onsite parking bays for disabled vehicles.
Parking is in surrounding streets or at the Ness Car Park.
